European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that Ukraine is not expected to achieve a quick victory over Russia in the near future, Ednews reports via TASS.
At the Party of European Socialists Congress in Malaga, Borrell reportedly highlighted the need for the European Union to prepare politically for a potential reduction in US assistance to Ukraine and emphasized the second major challenge as the situation in Gaza. He advocated for a two-state solution in Gaza but acknowledged the increased difficulty in reaching such a resolution compared to 30 years ago.
The White House earlier promised that financial aid for Ukraine would continue to flow despite the support Washington provides to other countries.
