Russia has lost 76 passenger planes due to sanctions imposed by the West, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Vitaly Saveliev, said, Ednews informs with reference to TASS.
"When we wanted to take the planes, we were unexpectedly surprised," the deputy minister said.
He said 1,167 passenger planes are currently in operation in Russia.
