Malta is ready to take over the OSCE chairmanship in 2024 if Estonia's candidacy is not approved, Prime Minister of Malta Robert Abela said at a joint press conference with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
"You know that Estonia is the official candidate. It is also known that a number of countries are against this. Malta’s candidacy for the post of OSCE Chairmanship was proposed as an alternative... I think we are well prepared for this," he said Ednews reports.
