The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that that country will boycott the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) upcoming ministerial council as Russia was allowed to participate.
In its written statement, the ministry accused Russia of "consistently destroying the OSCE" using "blackmail and open threats" and blocking "consensus on key issues," such as Estonia's bid for chairmanship in 2024. It added that, having Russia there will "only intensify the crisis" within the organization.
Moreover, Ukraine thanked the host, North Macedonia, for "prioritizing the issue of countering Russian aggression against Ukraine during its presidency." The summit will be held in Skopje, North Macedonia, between November 30 and December 1.
