Leaders of the United States Congress reached an agreement on a two-tranche short-term funding bill to keep the federal government funded into March, Ednews reports via CNN.
According to the report, the proposed funding stopgap would keep federal agencies operating on two different deadlines, like the current patch. Funding for some federal agencies would expire on March 1, while funding for others would be extended to March 8.
Additionally, the source revealed that House Republicans are set to hold a conference call on Sunday night to discuss the deal.
