Pakistani government has decided to restore full diplomatic ties with Iran and appointing ambassadors back, ending the brief stand with Western neighbor as both sides fired missiles into each other land, Ednews reports citing Pakistan Observer.
The move came as Pakistan's interim Anwaar Kakar chaired an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee on National Security following the recent tension.
The apex security committee has decided the restoration of full diplomatic ties with Tehran including sending back the Ambassador as both sides agreed to de-escalate the situation after retaliatory strikes.
Note that on January 16, Iranian Air Force struck with missiles and drones two command posts of the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group in Pakistan.
On January 18, Pakistan said it carried out strikes against "terrorist hideouts" in Iran. Iranian media said several missiles hit a village in the Sistan-Baluchestan province that borders Pakistan, killing at least nine people.
