Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov told journalists that if US citizens are allowed to watch Russian President Vladimir Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson their "eyes would be opened", Ednews reports.
"Carlson asks simple questions: why should American citizens direct their tax dollars not to improve their security, not to rid the country of drugs, not to remove homelessness and poverty from the streets of American cities, but to send billions of dollars to some faraway country?"
Earlier, US National Security Council (NSC) Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby advised US citizens "not to take at face value anything Putin has to say."
