The new Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, at the first government meeting, announced changes related to the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers and the government administration, Ednews informs via Georgian media.
"The powers of the first deputy prime minister will be entrusted to the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili. I would like to wish him good luck. Thea Tsulukiani (who also took the post of minister of culture and sports - ed.) will be entrusted with the duties of the deputy prime minister of Georgia. And also to Irakli Chikovani (also took the post of Minister of Defense - ed.) will be assigned the responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia," Kobakhidze said.
According to him, the changes also affected the government administration.
"Mikhail Peikrishvili will become the head of the government’s strategic communications department," he noted.
