The Democratic Party supports the modernization by the US administration of each element of the nuclear triad, as well as investments in the nuclear sphere in order to ensure that the United States can maintain and strengthen its nuclear forces.
The manifesto supports the position of the Biden administration, according to which US nuclear weapons are intended to deter a strategic attack by those who threaten the United States, its allies and partners with nuclear weapons.
At the same time, the party believes that the United States is demonstrating openness to future arms control negotiations if competitors show interest.
