The Taliban forces, who control the power in Afghanistan, have aggravated the situation by distorting religious laws.
The interim government once supported by Turkiye and Pakistan regarding the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, is now beingn condemned by many Islamic countries. Thus, the Taliban government, which recently banned women from studying at universities, enacted it as a law. Currently, girls and women in the country are deprived of these and other material and moral rights.
Regarding the problem, Pakistani political analyst Dr.Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan told Ednews that although hopes for Taliban was great, its principles were then greatly distorted.
"In my opinion, the emerging socio-economic, geopolitical and geostrategic bitter realities have drastically changed level of trust and comfort amongst them. In the near past, Pakistan and Turkiye have been jointyly working under Friends of Asia forum for achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan but unfortunately zero sum power game dismantled it.
"According to reliable military sources it seems that various factions of Taliban and scattered warlords in different cities and provinces are the silent supports of TTP and Al-Qaeda. Unfortunately, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is once again getting momentum on the soil of Afghanistan because of ongoing military operations in Iraq, Syria and other African countries due to which friends have become foes and foes turned fatal forces against their own supports".
As for education, the expert noted that the Taliban's attitude towards it is simply a shame for the name of Islam.
"There is no doubt that Islam advocates knowledge, human wisdom and logic, which can be acquired through basic and higher education, but unfortunately, the interim government of the Taliban has its own policy and philosophy regarding the basic precepts of Islam.
In this regard, simply banning girls from education is a disgrace to the name of Islam. It can only be their approach based on past shameful deeds of history, weak human rights traditions, outdated and inhumane heritage.
"The fact that the interim Taliban government does not pay attention to the constructive efforts of the countries of the region, mainly Pakistan, China, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, creates big problems for it. The delay in the regional recognition of the interim government of the Taliban is due to their civil behavior and inability to reach political maturity.
As for support, Pakistan and Turkiye are working tirelessly to achieve the desired goals of regional peace and stability by providing all possible diplomatic, social, political and economic support to revive the declining administrative confidence in Afghanistan. In addition to considerable financial and economic aid, humanitarian aid has been consistently sent to the country.
In this regard, both countries have now requested the release of financial assets by the US government.
I believe that Pakistan and Turkiye can greatly support the Afghan people in the fight against education, healthcare, infrastructure development, pure drinking water, human trafficking and the use of drugs."
