Yemeni Houthi forces fired cruise missile on Saudi’s Abha airport, causing suspension of flights, Al Manar reports.

Yemen’s Al-Massirah TV channel reported that the rocketry force in the Yemeni Army and the Popular Committees fired a cruise missile at Abha airport. At least 26 civilians have been injured in a missile attack, BBC reports.

Three women and two children were among those hurt when the missile struck Abha airport early on Wednesday, a military spokesman was quoted as saying.

The TV quoted a military source as saying that the missile accurately hit its target in the airport.

The Saudi-led coalition first declined to confirm the attack, but later on Wednesday acknowledged that Abha airport was subjected to missile attack by Yemeni forces.

This is the second time that the Yemeni allied forces use this type of missiles since the start of the Saudi-led aggression on the Arab impoverished country. Yemeni forces fired cruise missile at Abu Dhabi’s Barakah nuclear power plant.
