Latvia sent Stinger missiles to ukraine the day before the war in Ukraine, Prime Minister of Latvia Krišjānis Kariņš told the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London, Ednews reports.
"We don't have a good past with Russia, we have had this experience. Therefore, at the beginning of these events, we madde a decisin to send military aid to Ukraine, and our Stingers were already delivered to Ukraine a day before the start of a full-scale invasion. Fortunately, these weapons we sent played an important role in preventing the capture of the airport, which was the first part of Russia's plan," the Prime Minister stressed.
