Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov dismissed statements made by United States President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the alleged nuclear threat posed by Russia, Ednews reports citing Teltrader.
In an interview on the Rossiya-1 TV channel on Sunday, Lavrov expressed difficulty in interpreting the two leaders' statements and advised against attaching significant importance to baseless claims.
"I would not now attach too much importance to verbal escapades that have no foundation," Lavrov said about Biden's remarks, going on to describe Zelensky's statements as "an even more violent stream of consciousness."
