Kyrylo Budanov (pictured), the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, pointed out that the counteroffensive Kiev's forces are carrying out will continue even when the weather worsens in the coming months.
Appearing at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) event in the capital of Ukraine, he acknowledged that "it is more difficult to fight" in those conditions.
At the same conference, Budanov's deputy estimated that there are over 420,000 Russian soldiers in "temporarily occupied territories" and Crimea.
