The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed on Sunday that it destroyed 44 drones launched by the Ukrainian military over the past 24 hours. The incidents took place in Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics and in the Zaporozhye region, all of which Russia considers parts of its territory.
Russian armed forces reportedly repelled Ukrainian attacks in areas of Kupyansk, Kharkov, Krasny Liman, and in Zaporozhye and Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
"In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 517 aircraft, 253 helicopters, 8,392 unmanned aerial vehicles, 441 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,006 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,170 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 6,902 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 14,760 units of special military vehicles," the ministry said on social media.
