An Israeli missile attack targeted a military site near the disputed Syrian Golan Heights territory, specifically in the Tal al-Jabiya area of Daraa Governorate, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday.
Successive explosions were reported, with smoke visible from the site, prompting ambulances to rush to the scene.
The strikes come after it was reported that a drone strike near the Syrian-Iraqi border killed five pro-Iranian militia members. The origin of the attack on the Syrian-Iraqi frontier is still unknown.
