On June 30, the delegation participating in the Youth Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) visited the Azerbaijani city of Aghdam, EDnews reports, citing the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
It is noted that more than 100 representatives from seven countries got acquainted with the large-scale restoration and construction work carried out in Aghdam, liberated from occupation. As part of the excursion, the guests visited the Aghdam railway and bus station complexes, the International Mugham Center, as well as the historical Juma Mosque.
The delegates were provided with detailed information about the past of the city and its future, which is actively being formed.
At the end of the visit, a gala reception with elements of Azerbaijani culture and a cultural and entertainment program were organized for the participants.
The Youth Forum, which will be held within the ECO Week in Azerbaijan, will become an important platform for strengthening the role of youth in regional politics and recognizing their contribution to the future of generations.
