Azerbaijan is participating in the 30th Rabat International Book Exhibition, which commenced on April 17, 2025, at the Souissi venue in Rabat, Morocco. Organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, with support from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Morocco, the national stand showcases newly published books highlighting the country's history, culture, and literary heritage. Visitors to the exhibition receive detailed information about Azerbaijan's rich cultural legacy, including the designation of Shusha as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2024.
The opening ceremony was attended by Moroccan government officials, prominent literary figures, and local media representatives. Notably, Morocco's Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohammad Mehdi Bensaid, visited Azerbaijan's national stand and was briefed on the country's cultural and historical contributions, as well as literature related to Karabakh.
The fair features participation from 743 exhibitors representing 48 countries, offering over 100,000 book titles across various topics. The event will continue until April 27, 2025
