“According to the results of 2018, in terms of the volume of military equipment sale to Azerbaijan, Belarus equated with Russia or even left it behind. This allowed many of our enterprises to stand up in the conditions of a significant reduction in the export of Belarusian military-industrial forces to the Russian market''.

Eurasia Diary informs citing to, This was stated by Andrei Porotnikov, head of the ‘’Belarusian security block’’ analytical center.

According to our interlocutor, Azerbaijan has long established relations with Pakistan and Turkey in political and military spheres, and Minsk, in turn, tries to cooperate with Islamabad and Ankara.

From this point of view, even at the level of political consultations, the assistance of Azerbaijan can be very important. Although Turkey and Pakistan have their own characteristics, we do not have special specialists in the East.

In addition, the experience of cooperation between Belarus and China can be useful for Azerbaijan. After the adoption of ‘’Polonez’’, the visits of representatives of the PRC's military industrial complex companies to Baku intensified. Beijing is not a simple supporter in all relations. From this point of view, Belarusian consultations will help Azerbaijan not to take wrong steps like us.

Thus, the result of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani cooperation is of practical and felt importance not only for the leaders of our countries, but also for ordinary citizens, " he said. Porotnikov noted.
