The consumption prices index made up 3% in January-April, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said at press conference, EDNews.net reports citing Report News Agency.
“This is lower than a figure forecasted and we are expecting to remain at this level by the end of this year,” he said.
According to him, the loan portfolio grew 1.9%. Business loans rose 4.1%, consumption loans dropped 4.1% and mortgage loans went up 5.2% year-on-year.
