The Asian Development Bank provided $928,000 grant to Tajikistan for additional purchase of personal protective gear for health workers to support the country's COVID-19 response, EDNews.net reports citing Avesta.
Protective overalls, masks, gloves, shoe covers, face schields, caps and other supplies will be delivered in three parts.
The first part of suplies will arrive in August from Cambodia. The second and third parts will arrive from China in August and September, ADB said.
This grant was provided in addition to previous $100,000 grant in March for purchase of medical supplies.
