In January-May 2025, the value of Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas exports increased by 11.6% compared to the same period last year, amounting to $1.4 billion, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the center, the value of the country's food exports increased by 14.4% over the past 1 year to $417.7 million.
In addition, during the specified period, the export value of chemical industry products increased by $46.8 million or 45.9%, the export value of sugar by $3 million or 30.1%, the export value of ferrous metals and products made from them by $3.8 million or 11.3%, the export value of fruits and vegetables by $48 million or 19.1%, and the export value of cotton yarn by $1.3 million or 14.5%.
During the year, the export value of agricultural products increased by 17.2% to $331.2 million, the export value of agro-industrial products increased by 5.9% to $115.6 million, and the combined export value of agricultural and agro-industrial products as a whole increased by 14% to $446.7 million.
