On April 28, a meeting in an expanded format was held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.
The meeting took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
EDnews note that during the discussions, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, energy, transport, and other areas.
Furthermore, they highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation within international organizations.The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust, reflecting the spirit of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Iran.
