Azerbaijan will hold "Immunization Week" from April 27 to May 3.

EDnews  informs that, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev signed an order in this regard.

The purpose of signing the order is to organize "Immunization Week", which has been held in the European region since 2006 at the initiative of the World Health Organization, at a high level in Azerbaijan. 

According to the document, the heads of all medical institutions and institutions providing outpatient and polyclinic services to the child population in all cities and regions of Azerbaijan, regardless of their organizational and legal form, have been instructed to hold "Immunization Week".

The document reflects the involvement of children who have been excluded from vaccination for any reason in the cities and regions of the republic during the "Immunization Week". At the same time, it is also planned to provide methodological assistance to medical institutions that carry out vaccination of children in organizing immunization events, as well as to educate the population about this.
