Istanbul, the apple of Turkiye's eye. This mysterious city, which attracts the whole world with its historical past and modern infrastructure, is considered indispensable for tourists.
This city, which hosts millions of tourists from across many countries every year, has managed to make an image for itself as the main city of tourism with unusual, historical places.
This time, Ednews staff will talk about the historical passenger ship of Istanbul called "Floating Museum". During our trip, we got acquainted with the unusual appearance of the ship and the services provided there.
The captain of the ship, who gave information about the vehicle, said that the ship, built in 1976 and named after the martyr Adam Yavuz, served passenger transportation within Istanbul in those years.
The ship, which was discontinued in 2013, was put into use by local and foreign people with a new concept and design in 2020 after a 7-year break. The ship, using its old name, is sailing in the Bosphorus of Istanbul under the name "Le vapeur Magique" (A ferry of magic). This historic vehicle, which is organized 3 times a day, starts from Eminönü and Ortaköy districts of Istanbul.
The ship has a restaurant, a conference hall, and a large banquet hall for celebrating happy days. The world-famous Istanbul Bosphorus accompanies its customers while they enjoy the delicious dishes of national Turkish cuisine during breakfast. In addition, evening trips are also organized, during which guests are offered dinner. According to the captain of the ship, taking into account the number of customers, advance reservations are necessary to enjoy delicious food accompanied by live music.
This historic space with a new design also displays an exhibition of world-famous works of famous artists in 3D format. In this miniature museum, besides taking pictures, visitors feel themselves in the works and among the heroes.
Furthermore, a drone filming service is provided on the ship. This, in turn, gives guests the opportunity to immortalize their travels against the backdrop of the magical landscape of Istanbul.
It is impossible not to fall in love with Turkish cuisine and music from the very first time traveling on a ship full of history, and to fall in love with local and foreign culture thanks to the museum.
If you are planning to come to Istanbul, make sure to include this mysterious ship on the Bosphorus cruise and taste the delicious dishes of Turkish cuisine in your travel schedule.
