President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received chairman of the State Inspectorate for ecological and technical safety under the Government of the country Kanatbek Muratbekov, Kabar reports according to the press service of the President.
During the meeting President Atambayev was informed about the work being done on the supervision of the required standards in the construction and operation of infrastructure, social and industrial facilities in the country.
Muratbekov said that, uniting of supervisory and control functions of 7 inspections in 2012 contributed not only to improve the efficiency of state control in the field of safety of life and health of people, environment, and economic development in general and the improvement of the investment climate in the country. According to his data, the number of inspections during this period decreased by almost 3 times: from 44 thousand 202 in 2011 to 15 thousand 849 in 2016.
President Atambayev stressed the importance of effectively addressing security problems in order to achieve sustainable economic development. He said that the reduction of the number of inspections and preventive measures will continue to promote the interests of entrepreneurs and citizens.
