“It is time to prepare for peace and cooperation in the region,” said Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross during the visit of the representatives of diplomatic corps to the liberated Gubadli region, Eurasia Diary reports citing APA.
The ambassador noted that the war has already ended: “I think that it is already time to prepare for peace and cooperation in the region, partnership of all countries in the Caucasus for better future, working jointly in order to cope with challenges such as climate change, biodiversity and for sustainable development facing the world. I believe that we will see smart cooperation and forgiveness, and peace. I hope that the European Union and France will be partners in this cooperation.
What I saw made me feel that it is time for peace and forgiveness. I think that we should prepare for this. Governments, schools, families, parents have a responsibility in this regard. They should give to their children such education that they see each other not as enemies, but as partners, all these are important for regional cooperation.”
