Luis L. Bono, the new senior advisor of the US State Department for the South Caucasus, will make his first visit to the region, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia, next week.
Ednews reports with reference to Report that the spokesperson of the institution, Ned Price, said this in a briefing.
"This is the first thing we will do - we expect these to be regular visits to all three countries of the South Caucasus. Mr. Bono plans to meet with senior leadership to support the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and our continued commitment to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. As I have already said, he will visit all three countries of the South Caucasus during his visit. He will go to Baku, Yerevan, and Tbilisi in this order," said the spokesperson of the US State Department.
"We believe that this will give Mr. Bono an opportunity to continue the meeting between the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the President of Azerbaijan at the Munich Security Conference a few weeks ago, in mid-February.
