The Council of the European Union (EU) will discuss Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization at Monday’s session, Ednews reports citing the press service of the EU.
Today, the Council of Foreign Relations will meet in Brussels under the chairmanship of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Joseph Borrell.
At the beginning of the meeting, EU foreign ministers will have an informal exchange of views with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken online.
Later, the Council will have an informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba online and discuss Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
It was reported that the meeting will also discuss the situation in Belarus and the Middle East.
"Within the framework of current issues, the High Representative is expected to touch upon the issues of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the normalization process between these two countries, and the EU's general support for Armenia's stability," the press service of the EU Council said.
