Statements of some military experts in the Armenian media about the position of the Armenian army on the state border are absurd. Unlike some of those who sit in Yerevan and write about the situation on the border with Azerbaijan in the Gazakh region, during our trip to the border regions with Armenia, we saw different things.
According to Eurasia Diary, the priority in the Gazakh region belongs to the border troops of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
Armenian statements are like the character of a hare running after a train. On August 13, senior officers of the Armenian army were sent to this area after the announcement of the State Security Service about moving forward and taking new positions at certain heights in Gazakh. It is felt that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia made serious efforts to eliminate the psychological impact on the soldiers, both on the front lines, in headquarters, and in border villages.
It should be noted that as a result of the demarcation of the border troops of Azerbaijan to new defensive positions in a separate border region of Gazakh, thousands of hectares were taken under control. At the same time, the border troops of Azerbaijan have the opportunity to control the gas pipeline from Georgia to Armenia and the nearby gas station. Today, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia can hide reality from the public. However, in the winter months, villages and districts of this region will not be able to hide the reason when houses are left without gas.
