Chairman of the board of the Udmurtia-Azerbaijan Friendship Public Centre in the Udmurtia Autonomous Republic of the Russian Federation Zulfugar Mirzayev and board member Ilgar Jabrailov have arrived in Azerbaijan by the decision of the organization's board.
EDNews.net reports that the main purpose of the visit of our diaspora representatives to the Motherland is to visit the families who suffered more losses during the war on the eve of the anniversary of the Second Karabakh War and to provide them with possible support.
Zulfugar Mirzayev and Ilgar Jabrailov, representing 10,000 Azerbaijanis living in Udmurtia, have visited the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora. They have met with the chairman of the committee Fuad Muradov and have discussed the purpose of the visit and the role of diaspora organizations in strengthening relations between our countries.
In the next day of their visit, the delegation paid a visit to Agjabadi district as planned and met with the head of the district executive power Rafil Huseynov. During the meeting, representatives of the Diaspora have informed the head of the Udmurtia- Azerbaijan Friendship Public Centre about the decision of the organization's board to build a private house for the family of a martyr in need of housing in Agjabadi district at the expense of funds collected by our compatriots.
Afterwards, a meeting has been held with about 10 families of martyrs in Najafgulubeyli, Minakhorlu, Hajibadalli villages and Agjabadi city with the participation of Zulfugar Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan-Udmurtia Friendship Public Centre, Ilgar Jabrailov, Member of the Board, Safar Safarov, Head of the Construction and Architecture Department of Agjabadi District Executive Power, Shohrat Orujov, Head of the Department for Work with Participants of the Patriotic War and Martyrs' Families as well as with the participation of other members of the Commission established by the order of the head of the Executive Power, and the needs and housing conditions of each family have been introduced. As a result, taking into account the needs of the family of martyr Atayev Tariyel son of Fakhraddin, it was decided to build a fully renovated three-room private house on a 0.07 ha plot of land for the martyr's wife Atayeva Ilhama daughter of Shakir, resident of Minakhorlu village of Agjabadi region and their two young children. Immediately, project estimates have been prepared and construction work has benn given start. At present, the basement of a private house has been laid, reinforced concrete work has been completed and construction work is underway.
Martyr Tariyel Atayev was born on September 5, 1986 in Minakhorlu village of Agjabadi. He distinguished himself in the battles near Fizuli, Agdara, Khojavend, Shusha in the Patriotic War. The brave fighter was heroically martyred in the battles for the city of Shusha. By the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was posthumously awarded the medal "For the Motherland". He is the nephew of the late People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Safa Gahramanov.
It should be noted that the meetings of members of the Udmurtia-Azerbaijan Friendship Public Centre, as well as assistance to the families of martyrs and the construction of a three-room house for the family of Martyr Atayev Taryel, a resident of Minakhorlu village, have been organized with the support of the president of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev and his organisation's volunteers.
