The representatives of the diplomatic corps operating in Azerbaijan were informed about the latest provocation by Armenia at the border checkpoint of Lachin, which resulted in the wounding of one of our border guards, Ednews reports.
It was brought to the attention of the representatives of the diplomatic corps that the residents of Armenian origin who lived in Khankendi before the armed provocation used the border-crossing point without any obstacles.
It was noted that conditions are being created for medical evacuation by the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross. In other words, the road is not closed, as some circles claim. It's just that temporary investigative measures are being implemented regarding the latest provocation of Armenia.
It was brought to the attention of the foreign diplomats that Armenian side uses the current situation on the border checkpoint as a tool of propaganda. So, some European politics also come and stand on the other side of the bridge, and share one-sided information that does not reflect the truth. They use this situation for their PR campaign.
Note that as a part of the Lachin visit, foreign diplomats visited bridge between Armenia and Azerbaijan where border checkpoint is located.
