The Western Azerbaijan Community strongly rejects the anti-Azerbaijani statement of Argentine President Alberto Fernández at the UN General Assembly, Ednews reports.
"Instead of resolving the serious socio-economic issues of his country, such as poverty and corruption, the President of Argentina expresses his dilettantish attitude to issues in which he is not involved. It seems that his knowledge of international relations, international law, and geography is very superficial. Accusing Azerbaijan of taking control of Nagorno-Karabakh is like accusing Argentina of taking control of Mendoza province.
We remind Alberto Fernández who accused Azerbaijan of "ethnic, religious and racial persecution" that indigenous tribes were massacred in Argentina in the 19th century, and we call to focus on these issues," the statement issued by the Western Azerbaijan Community said.
