A mine incident occurred in Hasangaya village of Tartar region.
Ednews informs that according to the information given by Ilgar Gasimov, (representative of the administrative area district), Hajiyev Arzu Najaf oghlu, born on March 20, 1965, from Hasangaya village fell into a landmine while grazing animals in Chilaburd village, in an area not cleared of mines.
He died of his injuries on the spot.
Even though ANAMA (Mine Action Agency of The Republic of Azerbaijan), and law-enforcement agencies put up billboards about the danger of mines, and conduct awareness campaigns, our citizens ignore all this and put their lives in danger.
