The Chairman of the Public Council under ANAMA, President of International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev, along with members Musa Marjanli, Hafiz Azimzadeh, Rey Qasimov, and Nadir Jafarov, visited the region together with the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), Vuqar Suleymanov.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with the ongoing humanitarian mine clearance activities conducted by the Agency in the liberated areas, as well as the awareness-raising efforts being carried out.

During the two-day visit, the delegation reviewed the mine clearance operations conducted in the Qazakh district, participated in the process of installing warning and awareness-raising signs regarding explosive ordnance hazards in the area.

Later, the delegation visited the Agency's Goygol Regional Training Center, where they familiarized themselves with the facilities and observed the training processes conducted for the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, focusing on "Humanitarian Mine Clearance" and "Battlefield Clearance."

As part of their visit to the liberated areas, the delegation, led by the Chairman of the Agency’s Board, reviewed the operations conducted by the Community Mine Action Team of the International Eurasian Press Fund involved in humanitarian mine clearance in the Agdara district.

Additionally, the delegation visited ANAMA’s mobile base in the Lachin district, where they closely examined the facilities and met with the personnel.
