Ghanaian football player Raphael Dwamena (pictured center) passed away at the age of 28 after collapsing in the 24th minute of the game in the Albanian top division, the Ghana Football Association announced in a statement on Saturday.
"Raphael represented Ghana wholeheartedly and paid his dues to the country until his unfortunate passing. We will forever miss him for his dedication to the National Coarse," the statement read.
Dwamena had previously experienced a collapse during a game in Austria in 2021.
