Junior World Chess Championship (U-14, U-16, U-18) is coming to an end in Montesilvano (Italy).
Ednews reports via Azerisport.com reports that Azerbaijani chess player Ayan Allahverdiyeva took the first place among 18-year-olds ahead of schedule with 9.5 points in 11 games.
She won the game of the last round and is currently one and a half points ahead of her competitors. The other 10 chess players of Azerbaijan are not among the prize-winners.
