Dallas Mavericks won their first 2024 NBA Finals game by defeating Boston Celtics 122-84 tonight in American Airlines Center, taking the series back to Boston for the fifth game that will be played on June 18.
With the series score now being 3-1 in favor of Boston, the Mavericks still have an almost impossible task ahead of them to become the first-ever team in NBA history to reverse-sweep their rival in NBA playoffs matchup.
Luka Doncic was the standout player for the home team scoring 29 points and dishing out 5 assists, and he was followed by Kyrie Irving who scored 21 points and Tim Hardaway with 15 points. Celtics were led by Jason Tatum who scored 15 points and Sam Hauser with 14 points.
The fifth game of the 2024 NBA finals will take place in Boston’s TD Garden on June 18.
