President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government and the Ministry of Health to submit the plan of additional measures to stabilize COVID-19 situation next week, EDNews.net reports citing AKIpress.
"The government and the new leadership of the Ministry of Health are tasked to submit the plan of additional measures for stabilization of the coronavirus situation and prevention of its further spread, improvement of treatment of citizens in hospitals and outpatient clinics," the President's official page on Twitter said.
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are among 30 countries named by WHO that have seen increases in new cumulative cases of the past two weeks.
