The French Senate has approved the pension reform proposed by the government.
Ednews reports that French Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne wrote about this on her Twitter page.
"After hundreds of hours of discussions, the Senate adopted the text of the pension reform. It is a decisive stage for the reforms that will ensure the future of our pensions. We are fully ready for the final decision to be made in the coming days," the Prime Minister said.
According to the information, 195 senators voted in favor of the document and 112 against it.
