Former President Donald Trump claimed court officers were crying and apologizing to him when they booked him last Tuesday during his Manhattan arraignment, Ednews informs.
Trump sat down with Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson for an interview, which will be aired Tuesday night.
While Trump bashed Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg and other top prosecutors charged with looking into his conduct and businesses, he sent out a statement last week that called the cops and court employees 'unbelievably nice.'
Asked about the experience by Carlson, Trump called them 'incredible.'
'When I went to the courthouse, which is also a prison in a sense, they signed me in and I'll tell you people were crying - people that work there, professionally work there, that have no problems putting in murderers and they see everybody,' Trump said. 'It's tough, tough place, and they were crying. They were actually crying. They said "I'm sorry."'
