Reporting from Khartoum, Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan said that the fighting has become more concentrated around the army headquarters and Khartoum International Airport, Ednews reports citing Al-Jazeera.
“The general command of the armed forces headquarters has been the site of heavy fighting since it began. Then there’s the airport, there’ve been heavy airstrikes around its vicinity because the armed forces say that’s where the RSF is stationed.
“With the airport itself, which is also a scene of heavy fighting, it has been hit by airstrikes. Residents around there can see the fighting and smoke coming out of the airport,” said Morgan.
“In nearby residential neighbourhoods, people can hear the exchange of heavy artillery,” she added.
