At least 3 people were injured in a 5.2-magnitude earthquake that hit southern China on May 2, local officials have confirmed.
Ednews informs via Global times that there were no reported deaths or serious injuries, but the quake did result in the evacuation of about 11,000 people.
The shallow quake struck at a depth of about 10.0 kilometers with an epicenter some 25 kilometers west-southwest of the city of Bonan, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
