French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has said that Paris deems it necessary to maintain all channels of dialogue with Moscow and is not interested in aggravating its isolation.
Ednews informs via Le Monde that he made the statement on the air of France Inter radio station.
"Channels of dialogue need to be maintained, and we have done so. The presidents have not spoken since autumn. We are maintaining all channels of communication with Russia," she said.
Colonna noted that embassies continue to work and there are diplomatic contacts.
