Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared on Tuesday that he discussed the latest round of sanctions against Russia with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Kiev.
EDnews informs via Teletrader that at a joint press briefing, Zelensky thanked the European Union for its readiness to give "the much-needed ammunition, one million shells for artillery" to Ukraine. The two also discussed the speed with which this assistance will be delivered, as according to Zelensky, this ammunition is already necessary on the battlefield.
"Every downed terrorist missile, every success of our soldiers in repelling Russian assaults is evidence that we can defeat this aggressor," the head of state emphasized.
