IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said on Saturday that he considered "unacceptable" the position of the military on non-recognition of the presence of territories closed for them around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP).
"I tried to create a protection zone around the ZNPP. However, a counteroffensive has begun, and the commanders of military units do not recognize the existence of territories they are not allowed to enter. This is absolutely unacceptable," the IAEA chief stressed in an interview with the Japanese television channel NHK.
During the interview, the head of the body did not specify which military personnel he was talking about.
