“We expect that the number of nuclear warheads that China has will exceed 1,500 by 2035," said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the press conference on the conclusion of the NATO Summit held in Vilnius, Ednews reports.
"China is investing heavily in the military. We see how China is getting closer to us. It's not about NATO becoming a global alliance, it's about our region facing a global challenge, and the rise of China is part of that. China is approaching us in the Arctic and Africa as well. We see how China is trying to control important infrastructure," Stoltenberg added.
