An Australian Army helicopter crashed into the ocean in Queensland, Defense Minister Richard Marles said on Saturday. The MRH90 helicopter crashed during joint military exercises with the United States and all four crew members are missing, he said.
The drills have been paused as a search and rescue operation is underway. "These are early days and there will be much more information to be provided about this incident but defense exercises, which are so necessary for the readiness of our defense force, are serious," Marles said.
