The French foreign ministry announced on Saturday that the country has suspended all its development aid and budgetary support to Niger following the military coup against the country's democratically-elected president, Ednews informs.
The ministry called for an immediate return to constitutional order in Niger and the reinstatement of the elected government.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the coup, considering it a danger to the region.
