A 4.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Tanzania, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
It struck at a depth of about 10 kilometers with an epicenter some 25 kilometers south of the Kigoma district, which is home to over 2.4 million people.
As of this moment, there are no reported damages and no tsunami watch has been issued.
